Mazier Tejada is an LMSW with a strong foundation in Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, Spanish, and Philosophy. With over 12 years of experience in nonprofit organizations, she has served in child welfare, youth development, and community advocacy. She also brings a background in security, supporting the safety and well-being of vulnerable populations.
Currently practicing as a mental health therapist, Mazier has experience supporting children with autism through her work as an ABA therapist. Her work is grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care.
She is the founder of Sound of Cielo, a healing space offering restorative health circles, expressive arts workshops, trauma healing groups, and nature-based practices. Through this work, Mazier holds space for individuals and communities to explore healing, creativity, and spiritual renewal.
Mazier is a trained Trauma Healing Facilitator with the Trauma Healing Institute and a student with the Trauma Informed Practices and Expressive Arts Therapy Institute. Her testimony and faith in Jesus Christ are at the heart of her work, guiding her commitment to restoration, hope, and collective healing.
Rooted in her own journey of resilience, Mazier is deeply involved in community organizing and advocacy, using her voice to uplift others and advance justice. She believes healing happens not just individually, but together—in community, in faith, and in shared purpose.
She is available for speaking engagements focused on trauma healing, faith-based restoration, community wellness, and the power of collective healing.
